Peer Support Specialist Training

Peer Support Providers are people with lived experience of recovery from a mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder who receive specialized training and supervision to guide and support others who are experiencing similar mental health or co-occurring disorders towards increased wellness.

Peer Support Specialist Qualifications:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age
  2. Have lived experience with mental illness and at least one year continuous recovery.
  3. Have a high school diploma or GED

 

2017 Training

Beginning November 3rd. Training will be every Friday for five Fridays
